Cabin Crew Managers
The following email, from Bart’s manager to her manager, was included in the documentation received from Cabin Crew Manager Lana, who conducted the first investigation.
Bart and I landed home from Atlanta on December 26th. I sent his performance feedback the following day. The first time he contacted his manager to file a grievance against me was a month later.

This next extract comes from documentation included in my appeal sent to the Head of Cabin Crew. I was talking about two complaints that had been dismissed by Crew Manager Lana, during the first investigative meeting.
Despite stating there was no case to answer for each, she recommended I receive support on how to deliver effective feedback and that a performance plan be put in place.

Here’s another extract from Bart’s grievance. He’s talking about our return flight to Heathrow. He states he was walking on eggshells, yet on the outbound flight, I had only spoken to him regarding taking his drink and meal orders before take-off. I’d also mentioned one other minor issue, but other than that, I hadn’t spoken to him about anything else. In fact, during that sector, we hardly spoke at all. The outbound flight had been quiet and problem-free.
15K and 16K were the last two seats on the right side at the back of the First Class Cabin.
(quoted verbatim)
Laurence opening PA was over five minutes long, again, not effective or concise.
I now felt I was walking on eggshells with Laurence watching my every move. It demotivated me further knowing however hard I tried, I would not live up to Laurence expectations. I decided to do what I do best and interact with the customers. I spoke extensively to Jason (15K) and Mark (16K) who owned a restaurant and where visiting London. We discussed the on board wines and they jokingly asked if I could come and serve them at their air bnb! This was
witnessed by Purser Katrina. Bullying; overbearing supervision.
Considering the apparent length of my opening announcement, only Anna and Ven had any recollection of it. In his witness statement, Ven claims I didn’t make an after-take-off announcement.
Being aware that I was dealing with a pathological liar, I contacted Customer Relations to ask them to look at the passenger manifest from our flight. They confirmed there were no passengers called Jason or Mark in the First Class cabin.
This also comes from Bart’s grievance. As you can see, he’s an amazing crew member. Instead of carrying one torch with spare batteries which is a requirement, he carries three.

He claims both encounters were witnessed by Katrina, yet she doesn’t mention either in her witness statement. The answers she gave were brief and to the point but she closed with this statement:

Considering I was adamant that Bart had lied throughout his grievance, Cabin Crew Manager Lana, who compiled the questions for the witness statements, could have spoken to Katrina and other crew members after receiving their statements. It took her two months and ten days to complete her investigation yet during that time, she didn’t speak with anyone.
Cabin Crew Manager Hayley took six weeks to complete her investigation but didn’t speak to anyone either. The Head of Cabin Crew could also have questioned Bart and other crew members, but in the eight weeks that it took her to complete her investigation, she also spoke to no one.
